Common steps for making a TMA block from frozen samples with our standard Quickarrayer kit
Step 1:
Pre-chill the Quickarrayer kit in freezer
Step 2:
Turn on the LED light on the Quickarrayer. Assemble a blank frozen recipient block in the arrayer in a low temperature environment, such as a cryostat chamber.
Step 3:
Punching a hole in the recipient block through the guide plate in a cold chamber.
Step 3a:
Recipient block with an empty hole.
Step 4:
Obtain a sample core with an appropriate coring pen in a cold chamber.
Step 5:
Eject the sample core inside the coring pen collected in Step 4 into the previously made hole (Step 3a) through the guide plate in a cold chamber.
Step 6:
Completion of a frozen TMA block. With our Quickarrayer, repeat Step 1 to 5, TMA blocks of frozen samples with different core sizes and layouts can be easily and precisely created.
